What is MRI?
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a diagnostic imaging technique that combines a powerful magnetic field with computer technology to produce detailed images of your body's soft tissue (organs, muscle, fat).
What is a CT scan?
Computed Tomography (CT) is a simple, safe, and painless examination. The scan produces a series of images and can detect many conditions that do not show up on conventional x-rays. Your doctor has ordered this examination to help make an accurate diagnosis of your condition. The results help determine the best course of treatment for you.
What is Ultrasound?
Ultrasound imaging (US), also called sonography, uses high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Ultrasound exams do not use ionizing radiation (x-ray). Because ultrasound images are captured in real-time, they can show the structure and movement of the body's internal organs, as well as blood flowing through the vessels.
